Privacy Policy

This is a starting template. Please review and adapt it with qualified counsel before relying on it. Last updated June 2026.

This website is operated by Valeria Elliott (“I”, “me”). I respect your privacy and handle any personal information you share with care, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spanish data-protection law.

Information I collect

I only collect the information you choose to give me. When you use the contact form, I receive your name, email address, the subject you select, and your message. When you subscribe to the newsletter, I receive your email address. Like most websites, my host may also log basic technical data (such as IP address and browser type) for security and performance.

How I use it

I use contact-form details solely to reply to your enquiry, and your newsletter email solely to send you the newsletter. I do not sell your data, and I do not share it except with the service providers below who help operate the site.

Service providers

The site runs on SiteGround (hosting), uses WPForms to process form submissions, and TranslatePress for translation. These providers process data on my behalf under their own privacy terms. Form submissions are emailed to me and may be stored in the website database.

Legal basis & retention

I process contact-form data on the basis of taking steps at your request, and newsletter data on the basis of your consent. I keep enquiries only as long as needed to respond and maintain our correspondence, and newsletter subscriptions until you unsubscribe.

Cookies

The site uses only essential cookies needed for it to function and to remember your language preference. It does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to processing, or withdraw consent at any time. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link in any email. To exercise any right, contact me at hello@valeriaelliott.com.
